About Ahana
A journey shaped by rhythm, expression, and commitment
Ahana Baderdinni began learning Bharatanatyam in summer 2017, building her foundation through years of practice and guidance.
Ahana has been a dedicated student of Bharatanatyam for over 9 years under the meticulous guidance of Guru Smt. Padmaja Kelam at Kalaivani Dance Academy. Over years of rigorous and dedicated study, Ahana has developed a deep reverence for the classical art form, viewing dance as a vital connection to her cultural heritage. Her upcoming Arangetram marks her formal solo debut and readiness to present the traditional Margam repertoire to the community.
Beyond the dance studio, Ahana is a high academic achiever who brings the same discipline and work ethic from the stage into her classroom pursuits. She is a multifaceted individual with a deep love for the creative arts. When she is not dancing or studying, Ahana immerses herself in reading, painting, playing piano, and writing, creative outlets that enrich her perspective and fuel the storytelling depth she brings to her choreography. Her Arangetram is not only a celebration of her technical milestone but also a testament to her intellect and artistic versatility.
